Hey music luvver, welcome to our small allotment on the internet. A facelift that didn’t cost a fortune or involve implants but seems to be interminably ongoing; however like growing vegetables, we want to grow slowly but surely in an organic way. Cookin’ with your own home grown vege sure tastes mighty fine and we’re all homegrown beat collectors, geek pie aficionados and trainspotters the like has never been seen. Between us all, we sure reckon we can rustle up something good for yo ears…

Mr. Done! - First Scene EP out now
One of our buddies has a new release out on his label, Altered Moods Recordings and it would be amiss to not mention it. The first by label head honcho, Malcolm Moore, under his Mr. Done! alias – it’s a three track EP of polished deep chords with a hint of old skool dirtyness.

Duration: 3+ hours – the first three hours will always be available to download/stream via the archive maintained on Pinky’s blog. The shows can and usually do, go on for much longer but recordings of the later parts of the show are only available for a short while afterwards on mixomat.org.
If deep electronic music be nectar to your parched ears, seared by the banality of other music then this may be the holy grail from which to let them sup. A weekly radio broadcast via the internet with a rotation of ‘professional’ presenters and gullible guests from around the globe.

Listen without prejudice
Your time is precious, mixes are ten-to-a-penny on the internet and you would need ten ears and consequently resemble a surreal figure in a Dali painting to listen to them all. You have to choose wisely, your ears are clamouring for nourishment but you don’t want to give them a rough kebab from the dodgy takeaway on the High Street. High quality unrefined rhythms, incomparable beats, wholesome grooves; these are all on the TipTop menu. Of course, we gorge and purge ourselves, like we have severe cases of an aural bulimia nervosa, on vast quantities of music so you don’t have to. Tracklists are now hidden by default on the mixes, revealable by a simple click for those too terrified to download without knowing.
Where ignorance is bliss, ‘tis folly to be wise.

Most previous mixes from a few years ago, are now back online and available for download. There’s a couple of exceptions: ck’s first mix Fit For Broadcast? and Pinky’s Old Skool Deep Vol.2; we’re sending out electronic pixies in cyberspace and dwarven beat bounty hunters in the real world to track ‘em down. There’s a little more content to coerce over from the older version of TipTop; including articles by ck and pking whereupon we will be furrowing our brows in deep concentration to squeeze out logs of new material. You have been warned.
